Assessment

Psychodiagnostic Assessment is used to help you better understand the factors influencing your behavior, document the challenges an individual is facing at a certain point, determine diagnoses, and to offer guidance for treatment planning and recovery recommendations. Psychodiagnostic assessment is often part of the initial therapy sessions, but is also offered by the clinic independent from treatment services if desired. Dr. Fugitt also offers psychodiagnostic assessment for the purposes of forensic consultation.

Mental Health Concerns

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an approach to therapy that uses the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to help ease pain points and reduce unease. Often, we are trying our hardest to use strategies that seemed to work at one time to help alleviate suffering but find that they no longer work as well. Sometimes we rely on old thinking patterns or behavior strategies that we believe should work that just don’t anymore. CBT helps identify those unhelpful patterns, find out what’s in the way of change, and eventually how to make those changes for good so you finally get the results you are hoping for. CBT is an evidence-based approach which means that it has been researched and its effectiveness is supported by scientific evidence. CBT has demonstrated success in helping people of all ages with various emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Dr. Fugitt uses CBT based techniques to treat many issues including Anxiety, Disordered Eating, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Hoarding, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Depression, Insomnia and sleep problems, and Panic Attacks/Panic Disorder, as well as Phobias and Fears.

Resilience and Fulfillment

You don’t have to be experiencing specific mental health struggles to benefit from therapy. Many people seek support not because they’re struggling with mental health concerns, but because they want to thrive—not just survive.

This tailored service focused on evidence-based strategies grounded in cognitive-behavioral, values-based, and performance psychology principles designed for those who feel generally stable but want to build deeper resilience, enhance focus, clarify goals, strengthen relationships, and live with greater purpose and satisfaction. Whether you're navigating leadership demands, work-life balance, or a transition point in your career or personal life, therapy can be a powerful tool to help you level up. If you’re ready to move from “fine” to fulfilled, this work can offer the clarity and tools to get there.

Life with someone in the skies can leave you feeling ungrounded. Whether your partner is in military or commercial aviation, the unique lifestyle can bring long periods of separation, unpredictable schedules, and the challenge of balancing connection with independence. I offer brief, targeted therapy designed specifically for those navigating the demands of aviation life. This work isn’t about long-term therapy—it’s about focused support to help you recalibrate, reconnect, and feel more steady on your own feet while loving someone who spends so much time off the ground.
